If someone is mean to your child, let’s stop teaching them to romanticize disrespect. Mean is mean. Bullying is bullying. Teasing that makes someone uncomfortable isn’t secretly “cute.” We spend years trying to teach our daughters boundaries, self-worth, and how they deserve to be treated… then turn around and tell them cruelty is affection. Maybe instead we teach:“If someone likes you, they should be kind to you.” Because too many women grew up confusing disrespect with attention.
