What should your longest long run be when training for a half marathon? If you’re newer to running or if this is your first half marathon, building up to 18km can be plenty. Some runners really need the confidence boost of running 21.1km before race day, so if that’s you and you have time to build safely to that distance it’s totally fine. More experienced runners who enjoy longer long runs can build up as far as 26km or a bit more, however I wouldn’t recommend going over 2.5 hours as that might
