Three Whidbey Island firefighters were injured after a house exploded in the Greenbank area, damaging nearby homes.

An explosion during a house fire on Whidbey Island, Washington State, on Wednesday left three homes damaged or destroyed, and three firefighters injured.

Several fire departments responded to a house explosion in Dunlap, resulting in significant damage to the home and the cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
